Welcome to Walton Park, Home of the Izaak Walton League of Lynchburg!
Walton Park, located in Amherst County, Virginia offers outdoor recreational opportunities for the entire family. Our facilities include a campground with water, electric, and septic hookups, a swimming lake with a sand beach and kiddie pool for the young ones, a fishing lake, picnic area, playgrounds, a 300-yard rifle range, a 50-yard pistol range, an archery range, and trap and skeet fields. Our clubhouse includes a small kitchen and can be rented by outside groups.
Membership in our local chapter includes membership in the Izaak Walton League of America as well as access to all that Walton Park has to offer. Please explore our website; we think you will agree that Walton Park has Something for Everyone!
Important News The Izaak Walton League of Lynchburg invites you and your family to
join us for a day of fun in the outdoors. Enjoy swimming, fishing,
picnicking, canoeing, and kayaking. Visit our archery range and check
out our campground, clubhouse and pavilion. Try your hand at trap and
skeet shooting. Our rifle range will be open and there will be a “Cowboy”
demonstration and fun shooting opportunities on our pistol range.
Food/snacks/sodas will be available.
