Welcome to Walton Park, Home of the Izaak Walton League of Lynchburg!

Walton Park, located in Amherst County, Virginia offers outdoor recreational opportunities for the entire family. Our facilities include a campground with water, electric, and septic hookups, a swimming lake with a sand beach and kiddie pool for the young ones, a fishing lake, picnic area, playgrounds, a 300-yard rifle range, a 50-yard pistol range, an archery range, and trap and skeet fields. Our clubhouse includes a small kitchen and can be rented by outside groups.

Membership in our local chapter includes membership in the Izaak Walton League of America as well as access to all that Walton Park has to offer. Please explore our website; we think you will agree that Walton Park has Something for Everyone!

“OPEN HOUSE” AT IZAAK WALTON PARK!

    • Park Hours

    The Park gate is unlocked for normal park activities from 7am until 11pm everyday.

    The Rifle and Pistol range use is limited to daylight hours, Monday thru Saturday, and noon to dusk on Sundays.
