Membership in Izaak Walton is open to anyone who appreciates the outdoors, and who supports the Izaak Walton League of America's mission. Our members are expected to be of good moral character, to respect the rights of others, and to use the Park in accordance with the rules and regulations established by the Board of Directors.

An individual membership includes Park privileges for your spouse and all of your dependent children that live with you.

How to Join

You can obtain an application by stopping by the Park Headquarters, calling the Park Superintendent at 434-929-2602 to have an application mailed to you, or you can print an application from this website. Your completed application must be accompanied by payment of the first year's dues of $220 (includes a $50 initiation fee). Membership is based on the calendar year but if you join the park on or after September 1, you will receive free local membership through the end of the current calendar year and full local and national membership for the following calendar year. By joining the Izaak Walton League of Lynchburg, you also become a member of the national organization and receive The Izaak Walton League of America's magazine, Outdoor America.

To become a member of the park's Rifle & Pistol club (and to gain full privileges on the rifle & pistol ranges), you must also pay a $30 annual range fee, be a member in good standing of the National Rifle Association, and attend a range safety class.
