We offer a 300-yard rifle range and a 50-yard pistol range. Both ranges have benches and covered firing lines. Target frames are provided but you must bring your own paper targets.

We are affiliates of the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) and the National Rifle Association (NRA) and a sponsor of the Stovall Creek Regulators, a Single Action Shooting Society (SASS) affiliate.

To become a member of the IWLL Rifle and Pistol Club you must also be an IWLL member, a NRA member, pay an additional $30 annual fee, and attend a range safety class. Once you meet all requirements you will be provided with a range card and the combination to the range gate lock. Spouses or dependent children 18 years or older can join under a family Park membership but must individually meet the NRA membership requirement, pay the $30 annual fee, and attend the range safety class.

R&P members may bring an individual as a guest twice per year. Regular shooting hours are from one half hour before sunrise to one half hour after sunset Monday through Saturday and from 12 noon to one half hour after sunset on Sunday.

During organized shooting events one or both of the ranges may not be available for general use. Every effort will be made to communicate such potential conflicts through the R&P match schedule, the IWLL newsletter, this website, and advance postings at the range.

Important Announcements

REMEMBER: Always check the schedule before visiting the range! Note that some events may occupy a range for hours, and on some days both ranges will be in use. We will post dates for unscheduled events (i.e. clinics, police use, etc.) at the gate ahead of time.

R & P meetings: Are scheduled at 7:30 PM on Feb. 4, April 1, June 3, Aug. 5, Oct. 7, Dec. 2 in 2009 at the Clubhouse. Please participate in the discussions and planning for YOUR club's activities.

2009 RANGE CLEANUP DATES: Are scheduled for March 7 and November 7. EVERYBODY can do SOMETHING to help!

A WORD ABOUT RANGE MAINTENANCE: If you are reluctant to gather up your casings and your trash, please bring your mother along to clean up after you (just make sure she gets to shoot all she wants).
